Varro

Varro came to us from Serbia at fourteen months, after we had watched his sire's side of the pedigree for three years. We wanted bone, a correct front and a dog who settles, and that is what he is: 92 pounds, square, dry, and asleep on his cot by the fireplace ten minutes after protection work. He earned his BH-VT and IGP1 with our club in the East Valley and passed his ZTP at a United Doberman Club event with a V1A rating, the highest the test gives for conformation and temperament together. His Holter has been clean every year since he turned two, most recently in March with zero VPCs over 24 hours, and his echocardiogram measurements have not moved. Varro is vWD clear and tests BB at the brown locus, so every puppy he sires is black and rust whatever the dam. His puppies so far are confident, mouthy in the normal Dobermann way, and quick to recover from a startle.
