Isa

Isa was bred in northern Italy and came home with us at sixteen weeks. Italy bans cropping and docking, so she arrived as she was born, with natural ears and a full tail, and we have come to love both. She is our only imported bitch: elegant, dry and very fast, 66 pounds, with a long clean head, tight feet and rich, well-defined markings. She passed her ZTP at a United Doberman Club event at 20 months with a V1A rating and earned her BH-VT this spring. In the house she is the quiet one. She watches the door, she watches the children who visit, and she says very little about either. Outside, she lives for a ball and for the pine forests up north, where we spend as much of the summer as we can. Isa is clear for vWD and negative for both DCM variants, with zero VPCs on her first Holter in January and a normal echocardiogram the same week. She carries red. Her first litter, with Cairo, is planned for this winter, when she will be three.
